Wait... what happens?

Years ago, I was reading St. Louis De Montfort and in his introduction to True Devotion to Mary he states

"Mary has been singularly hidden during her life. ... Her humility was so profound that she had no propensity on earth more powerful or more unintermitting than that of hiding herself, even from herself, as well as from every other creature, so as to be known to God only."

I knew at that moment this site would have to come down if I wanted to bring myself closer to God. While part of the site is a joke on how we misuse and devalue the word awesome I don't feel it would be fitting to have it. This site started off as a joke inspired by emails from my father telling us the need to donate to a number of good causes and a cartoon from Strong Bad's email. After one of these emails from my father, I quickly bought the domain name and uploaded the picture that was once here. I sent the link to my family. None of them clicked on that link and the site has roughly been unchanged since.

I’d use the site as a punch line when I’d receive a compliment using the word. It was mentioned on two of my favorite podcast, the now-defunct Geek Friday and the award-winning No Agenda. It was a good laugh and a wonderful adventure.
